ARRIVAL

Please arrive at the dock 15 minutes prior to departure. The boat will leave on schedule.
If there is a problem or you're running late, please call Captain Kelly at (401) 374-1439.

DIRECTIONS

GPS Address for the boat: 33 State Street, Narragansett, Rhode Island
When you enter the parking lot, head towards the water and look for the picnic table covered with a small roof. C-Devil is located across from that, on Dock SS, second slip on the left.

WHAT TO BRING/WEAR

CASH for the balance of your trip fee, plus your mate's tip (20% is customary)

Please wear sneakers or boat shoes. No hard-soled or open-toed shoes or flip-flops.

Dress in layers appropriate for the weather. For warm-weather trips, bring a windbreaker jacket, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm. For fall fishing, a down jacket, warm and waterproof gloves, and boots are highly recommended.

C-Devil is a very stable vessel with minimal rocking. However, if you tend to get seasick, we recommend asking your doctor to prescribe the Transderm SCOP patch. Apply the patch 24 hours before your trip. Otherwise, Dramamine or Bonine can help, taken at least 3 hours before boarding.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Please bring only one or two coolers per group, filled with ice and the food and water/beverages you’ll consume on the trip. No glass bottles please. We will filet your fish (if desired) and put it on ice in the cooler for the ride home. If you wish to bring extra empty coolers to take fish home, please leave them in your vehicle.

Alcoholic Beverages: Small quantities of beer or spritzer-type malt beverages are allowed. Hard liquor and wine are strictly prohibited. So are bananas. (Ask us why!)

POLICIES

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens, and trips sometimes need to be changed or canceled. To receive a refund of your deposit for a complete cancellation (not a postponement), you must provide a minimum of two weeks' advance notice. If canceled with less than two weeks' notice, your deposit will be forfeited unless you postpone/rebook your trip for a future date.

Weather Policy

C-Devil II sails rain or shine. Your deposit will be applied to a rebooking if the Captain cancels a trip due to dangerous weather, such as high winds and/or wave heights. If rescheduling within the current season is not possible, the deposit will carry over to the following season.

The Captain constantly monitors the weather using ocean-specific weather radar and buoy data to determine whether the boat will leave the dock. Unless the Captain calls and tells you not to come, you are responsible for being at the dock 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. If weather conditions worsen during a charter, adjustments may be made at the Captain’s discretion: a full-day offshore charter may become a full-day inshore, a full-day inshore may become a half-day inshore, and so on. Price adjustments will be made on downgraded trips.

Catch Policy

Charter boats are subject to Federal and Rhode Island fishing regulations (NMFS) in effect. Due to the federal permits required to harvest Giant Bluefin Tuna 73” and up, any giants landed will become the property of C-Devil II, and forty percent (40%) of the sale of the fish will be given to the customer who booked the charter. All other species landed belong to the customer(s). Call for current season's size and bag limits for all other species.

Lost Rod Policy

As is customary on charter vessels, the customer is responsible for the replacement value of any rod and reel lost overboard.
