Are you ready to meet the kings of the ocean? Rhode Island has some of the best tuna fishing on the East Coast, with many tuna species in its offshore waters from June through September. Our tuna trips offer anglers a chance to battle and land the fish of a lifetime - a Giant Bluefin tuna. Or, spend a day fighting school-sized Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna and go home with heavy coolers full of sushi-grade meat!

Tuna trips take us 20-40 miles south of Block Island to the fishing grounds, where large schools of sand eels have been bringing bluefin and yellowfin tuna in abundance in recent years. These elusive fish are constantly on the move, and we adapt our techniques based on their feeding habits, using several techniques, including trolling with a spread of seven custom rods or by jigging or chunking baits with customized tackle. No matter the method, the fight is always thrilling. Tuna are fierce and tenacious, making long runs and deep dives that provide an unforgettable battle for any angler. In addition to tuna, the warm waters from the Gulf Stream often bring in beautiful and delicious Mahi Mahi (Dolphin) and the occasional Wahoo.

After an exhilarating day on the water, we’ll return to the dock, where your catch will be filleted and bagged (regulations require pelagics to be dressed at the dock), ready to go into your coolers. Don’t miss the ultimate fishing experience!
